Social commitment day

A good school education is important so that young people can take their lives into their own hands at some point. This is true here in Germany, but it is even more true in India, where many children are born into abject poverty and are exploited under the worst conditions.
We, the IndienHilfe Deutschland e.V., are a relatively small association, which has witnessed the terrible misery, but also the hope of many Indian children in many personal encounters. In our schools and hostels, which we run together with a Catholic order, we give the boys and girls food, security and, above all, precious schooling with which they can build a better life for themselves.
With our " Social Commitment Day" we would like to call on students to work one day a year in private households, public institutions or even local businesses. Their wages are donated so that children in India can go to school and are not forced into child labor.

Would you like to participate in the Social Commitment Day or organise it as a school? Below you will find more information on how to do this. The brochures are in German, but please do not hesitate to contact us for more information in English.
